The fort is an example of delicate work with stone work on sandstone. Screen windows, huge balconies and delicate pavilions are the distinct features of Jaisalmer fort.
Jaisalmer Fort Today the Jaisalmer fort is still known famously around the world because of the colourful celebrations  and festivals that have become a part of the fort. The fort is made out of golden yellow stone which are as old as 800 years. Jaisalmer fort is located 30 meters above Jaisalmer city. One of the main attractions of the fort is the narrow lanes, and the havelis which are distinct and beautiful. Jain temples from the 12th century are one of the main attractions of the fort.

Taragarh ForLocated in southern Rajasthan in Kota, Taraghar Fort is a face of Rajputs who formed an integral part of Rajasthan’s rich heritage. Taraghar Fort Carvings of Elephants and crisscrossing tunnels are some of the striking features of Taraghar Fort. The fort has 3 gateways which are Phuta Darwaza, Lamxmi Pol and Gagudi ka Phatak. The crisscrossing tunnels worked as an excellent escape route for the King and his deputies in time of danger.
Taraghar Fort Apart from being a magnificent fort the fort also homes water reservoirs, Bhim Buri a massive stone tower and the palace of the Princess called the Rani Mahal. Legend has it that a great fortune lies within the fort with the death of the last Pathans the secret was lost forever. The fortune is supposed to be a treasure of diamonds, gold and other stones.
The rambling city of Bikaner was founded by descendants of Rao Jodha who founded Jodhpur. Enclosed with walls the city Bikaner has five gates. Bikaner is home to many forts and palaces one of the being Junagarh.
Junagarh FortThe Junagarh Fort is one of the most striking places from the medieval age. Great preservation efforts have been taken up to keep the forts structure intact and preserve the grandeur and the rich heritage of the medieval period. The walls of Junagarh fort have been very intricately carved by skilled artists. Raja Raj Singh one of the Generals of Akbar built the fort in 1588 A.D.
Despite being built on a lower ground Junagarh fort could never be captured. The Junagarh fort has 2 entrances which are Suraj Pol and Sun Gate.
